Norma J. Brubaker, 83, of Auburn, formerly of Crossville, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center. Norma was born March 8, 1933, in Alexander, IL, to Joseph and Mary Simpson Belk. She married her beloved husband, Billie Brubaker, on March 18, 1954, and he passed away May 14, 2014.
Mrs. Brubaker is survived by one daughter, Darice (Paul) Yonker of Divernon; one son Greg (Marge) Brubaker of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; two grandchildren, Christopher (Becky) Doerfler of Springfield and Bryan Brubaker of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; and two great grandchildren, Abby and Jake Doerfler of Springfield. She also was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Jeffrey Brubaker; brother, Francis "Bud" Belk; and infant great-grandson, Cole Doerfler.
Norma retired from the Illinois National Bank in 1988 and moved to Shawano, WI, where she loved to fish. After relocating to Crossville in 1994, she loved to play golf as a member of Lake Tansi Country Club. Norma was an avid reader and she cherished her special pet, "Kitty Cat."
