Michael Jeffery DePew, 59, of Crab Orchard, TN, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at Cumberland House in Crossville.
He was born Nov. 26, 1957, in Johnson City, TN, son of the late William DePew and Joyce (Miller) DePew. Michael worked as a real estate developer sales agent and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Celina. He also proudly served his country in the Air Force during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Melody Elaine DePew, Crossville; son, Joshuah Daniel DePew of Pennsylvania; daughter, Heather (Cork) Phillips of Pennsylvania; step-son, Jeremy (Traci) Jacobs, Kingston Springs, TN; grandchildren, Katelyne, Brayden, Landen and Arianna; brother, Roger (Joan) DePew, Cookeville, TN; sister, Pamela Perkins, Johnson City, TN; nephews, Chris DePew and Adam DePew; special friend, Jody McCullough, Bon Air, TN; dog, Matty Teddy; and eight cats.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his grandson, Kaiden; and brother, Billy DePew.
Funeral services will be held at Crab Orchard Christian Church on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at 3 p.m. with Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Celina in Celina, TN, on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at 3 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m..
