Merlin Campbell was 93 years old at the time of his passing on Oct. 27, 2016, at his home in Fairborn, OH. He was from Clifty, TN.
He has been reunited with the love of his life, Lucille (Vanwinkle) Campbell, who passed at their home Oct. 28, 2004. They were married 61 years at the time of her passing. He was also preceded in death by his parents Henry and Stella (Jones) Campbell, his brother Bill Campbell, sisters Bernice and Margaret, and a granddaughter and grandson.
His children, Jack, Joyce and her late husband Floyd Baker, Steve, Patti and husband James Music, Larry and wife Bonnie Jean, Bruce and wife Dianna, Dennis, and Tammy and husband Robert Hall; 20 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren morn his passing but are happy he is reunited with his wife, Lucille, and has no more pain and suffering.
He was part of the Bricklayers Local #22. He is also served in the Army during World War II.
Graveside services were Oct. 29, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Byron Cemetery.
