Oct. 29, 1930―July 18, 2015 Martelia “Telia” Branstetter, 84 of Crossville, passed away July 18, 2015. She was born Oct. 29, 1930, in Morgan, TN, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth Brown Robbins. She was retired after 30 years as a clerk at Wal-Mart and was also a member of Isoline Baptist Church. The most important part of her life was her family and the many friends who loved her. She is survived by her son, Dennis Branstetter and his wife, Margaret, of Crossville; daughters, Lucille Bailey and her husband, Larry, and Lorraine Simmons Jones and her husband, Russell, all of Crossville, and Rose Heflin and her husband, Terry, of Defeated, TN; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Harvey Branstetter. Funeral services were held July 21 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Lawrence officiated, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Tristan Branstetter, Bailey Phillips, Jacob Adams, Braeden Adams, Dewayne Heflin, Jesse Heflin, Cody Sisco, Justin Heflin, Carson Branstetter, Dawson Branstetter, Kyle Adams and Logan Adams. Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
