Marjorie F. Davis, 84, of San Antonio, TX (formerly of Crossville), passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at her home in Texas.
She was born March 20, 1932, in Argos, IN, daughter of the late Lyle Freeman DePue and Cleo Marguerite (Mathias) DePue. She worked at Flowers Bakery and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Gail Lynne Davis, Crossville, Michael Davis (Beverly), San Antonio, TX, Debra Davis, Falls Church, VA, and Gregory Lee Davis, Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Shellie Ann Green-Smith (Frank), Stephanie Marie Brehmer (Clay), Diana Marie Bond (Kyle) and Joshua Morgan Davis (Casea); great-grandchildren, James Geoffrey Green, Kylie Lynn Brehmer, Wayne Edward Brehmer and Callie Rose Davis; brothers, John DePue (Rosie) and Lawrence DePue (Jean); sister, Lena Tomforde; and brother-in-law, Jim Swihart.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, John Ridley Davis; sister, Mary Swihart; and brother, Lloyd DePue.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Barry Kennedy and Bro. Lawrence DePue officiating. Interment in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
