Mario Gambaccini, 91, of Crossville, TN, passed away May 12, 2016. He was born Oct. 28, 1924, in Kent, OH, the son of Angelo and Fermina Cappanelli Gambaccini. He was retired after many years as a brick mason and was a member of First Christian Church. He was also a United States Navy veteran having served during WWII, a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the 127 Senior Center. He was a kind and thoughtful man who will be greatly missed by all that loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Angelo Gambaccini of Kennesaw, GA, James Addison Weaver and his wife Laura of Charlotte, NC, and Craig Elliott Weaver and his wife Martha of Crossville; daughter, Linda Lorraine Allen and her husband Dennis of Stow, OH; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Gambaccini, and son, Clayton Lawrence Weaver.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, June 9, at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
