Sept. 18, 1928—Dec. 20, 2015 Margie "Audine" Ethel Webb, 87, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 20, 2015. She was born Sept. 18, 1928, in Warren County, TN, the daughter of Add and Ethel Thurman Fields. She had a tremendous love for bluegrass music and was a member for many years of the well-known local bluegrass group "The Lantana Drifters," having played the washboard. She was also an avid collector and loved working in her flowers as well. She was a huge UT fan and enjoyed watching the ballgames. She is survived by her husband, Edd Webb; daughters, Patricia Selby and husband James and Arlene McCulley and husband Harry; brother, Thurman Fields; grandchildren, Regina Selby, Renae Baskette and Heath Scarbrough; great grandchildren, Emily Baskette, Erin Baskette and Drake Scarbrough; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dallas Webb; brothers, Robert, Lester, Willis, O.C. and Wayman Fields; and sisters, Molly Glenn, Vassie Bratcher, Annie Wyatt and Christine Bolin. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Bro. Thom Hassler and Bro. Don Hassler officiated with burial in Lantana Cemetery. Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
