Margaret Anne (Bivens) Breeden, 69, of Crossville, passed away Jan. 27, 2017. She was born Feb. 20, 1947, in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Robert and Kay Groft Bivens. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School, Class of 1965, and continued her education at Oklahoma State University where she received her B.A. in Education in 1969. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and was a huge Cowboy fan. She retired after many years as a communication specialist with Waste Management Inc. in Oak Brook, IL. She was an Illinois resident for 39 years and spent 26 in Naperville. She married her husband, Howard, in the First United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN, in 1976. After retirement she and Howard moved to Crossville and were current members of Crossville First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Breeden of Crossville; son, Jeffrey Eugene Breeden and his wife Anne; and grandsons, Johnathan and Jacob Breeden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Bivens.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Crossville First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
