Landon Wade Hale, 68, of Cookeville, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Pikeville, TN, son of the late Charles Hale and Lois (Fields) Hale.
Landon worked as a test driver for General Motors Corp. and was a member of the Friendship Church of God. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughter, Jillian Hale, Cookeville; sons, Justin Hale of Denver, NC, and Joshua and Jeremy Hale, both of Crossville; granddaughter, Cheyanne Hale; brother, Jimmy Hale, Pikeville, TN; and sisters, Carlene West and Evelyn Smith of Crossville and Carolyn Pettit of Pikeville, TN.
In addition to his parents, Landon was preceded in death by his wife, Donna June Hale.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Greg Keller and Bro. Nathan Heady officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery with military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard.
