Oct. 23, 1928—Feb. 17, 2015 Katie Belle Seagraves, 86, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 17, 2015. She was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Kingston, the daughter of Reason and Lily Norris West. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time doing yard work and working with her flowers. She was a vibrant and optimistic lady who loved life to the fullest. She was a member of Pine Eden Baptist Church and sang with the gospel choir Share the Joy. She is survived by her son, Glenn Seagraves and his wife, Barbara, of Mt. Juliet; daughter, Glenda Cole and her husband, Mike, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Allison Cole and Keri Cole; sister, Ruby of Knoxville; and many nieces, nephews, special friends and her church family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Seagraves, and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., two hours prior to the service at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Dr. Ken Clayton will officiate.
