Katherine was loved and blessed with many family members and close friends. Her beautiful smile and warm hugs will never be forgotten. Truly a woman of strong faith and committed to her involvement with her church and church family. For years, she was involved in UMW (United Methodist Women), holding most of the leadership positions over the years. She was a long time member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization), again, holding various offices in the local chapter. She was a Stephen Minister and also enjoyed singing in the choir. Katherine was well known in the district and the region of the United Methodist world.
A private memorial for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossville First United Methodist Church, 100 Braun St., Crossville, TN 38555 or Gentiva Hospice, 1400 Donelson Pike, Suite B-5, Nashville TN 37217.
