March 14, 1960—Feb. 27, 2016 Karen Baragona, 55, of Crossville, TN, was born on March 14, 1960, to the late Wayne and Ruby Lee Garner. She passed away on Feb. 27, 2016, at Cumberland Medical Center. Karen attended Redemption Church. She loved to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She also loved to have popcorn and an iced coke and watch movies. Karen loved watching sad movies. She had four children and 11 grandchildren, and she was dearly loved as "mother" to many children. She worked at NCE at before- and after-school care, and then as a teacher's aide. She also worked at Hilltoppers for a while as a caretaker. She had four children, Gwendolyn Skinner (Owen), Leo Baragona III (Marlene), Eileen Norris (Hammer), and Rebecca Litzi (Eric). She is sadly missed by her husband of 25 years, Leo B. Baragona Jr. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Redemption Church in Crossville. A memorial service for Karen will also be held on Saturday at noon with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
