Joan A. Hanna, 82, formerly of Crossville, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at a Chattanooga healthcare facility.
Joan was born and raised in DeSoto, MO, but had lived in Chattanooga most of her life. She attended Falling Water Baptist Tabernacle.
She was a daughter of the late John and Laura Robertson and the wife of the late Marshall Hanna. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Hanna; two granddaughters, Amanda Haven Provens and Nichole Hanna Gschwend; two great grandsons, Kyle Provens and Jason Shirley; and three sisters, Eunice Robertson, Fern Robertson and Catherine Robertson Wallace.
Survivors include her son, John E. (Laverne) Hanna, Cleveland; two daughters, Marsha Hanna Haven, Ooltewah, and Kim (Ken) Shirley, Soddy-Daisy; daughter-in-law, Theresa Hanna; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Wrinkle officiating. Interment was in National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
