Jimmy "Jimbo"'s Story
Jimmy "Jimbo" Ray Edwards, 54, of Crossville, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017, at Cumberland House in Crossville.
He was born Nov. 9, 1962, in Elyria, OH, son of Buster P. Edwards & Virginia Clara (Pelfrey) Edwards. Jimbo worked in the maintenance department for the city of Crossville and was a member of Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Edwards, Crossville; daughters, Ashley Edwards of Crossville and Bailey Edwards of Johnson City; grandson, Gage Lowe, Crossville; mother, Jenny Edwards, Crossville; brothers, Jerry (Penny) Edwards of Crab Orchard and Roy Edwards of Crossville; and sister, Regina (Bobby) DeRossett, Crossville.
Jimbo was preceded in death by his son, Chase Edwards, and father, Buster P. Edwards.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Ryan Dick officiating. Interment in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
