Sept. 21, 1949—Feb. 23, 2016 Jane Ann Maddox, 66, of Crossville, TN, passed away Feb. 23, 2016. She was born Sept. 21, 1949, the daughter of Maxwell E. and Mildred I. Key Goss. She was a graduate of CCHS and received her bachelors degree from Tennessee Tech University. She was a homemaker and a strong Christian woman of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed working with crafts and was also an excellent cook. She had a tremendous love of gospel music and was a gifted piano player. She is survived by her sons, John Scott Maddox of Crossville, Kelly Maxwell Maddox and his wife Theresa of Cookeville, TN, and Jefferson Todd Maddox of Crossville. She also leaves her beloved dog, Murphy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Gleema Key. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
