James Hutton Wilson, 88, of Crossville, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
He was born Jan. 13, 1929, in Sparta, TN, son of the late Diberal Wilson and Ellen (Dodson) Wilson. James worked in the manufacturing field as a welder, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He also proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynde (Roger) Young, Crossville; grandson, Michael Young, Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Ethan Young and Ashlyn Young; and brother, Kermit Wilson, DeRossett, TN.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Ellen (Delk) Wilson; brothers, Tommy Wilson and Harold Wilson; and sisters, Geneva Clouse and Tressie Wagoner.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Ralph Reagan officiating. Interment in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
