James Ronald Miller Sr., 82, of Crossville, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge in Oak Ridge, TN.
He was born in Greensburg, PA, son of Leonard Miller and Madolyn (Charlesworth) Miller.
Ron proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired as a purchasing manager from Moog, Inc. located in East Aurora, NY. He also was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. He will be best remembered for his dedication to his family and his talents in woodworking and refinishing furniture for family and friends.
Ron is survived by his wife, Yvonne Miller, Crossville; sons, James Ronald Miller Jr. & wife Sarah (OR) and John Miller & fiancé Tracey Morris, FL; daughters, Michelle Fallone (NY) and Mary Ann Carroll & husband Mark, MD; brothers, Donald Miller (PA) and Richard Miller, MS; and sister, Susan Kosko, SC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Miller; and mother, Madolyn (Charlesworth) Miller.
Memorial services will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at 10 a.m. with Fr. Jim Harvey officiating.
