April 18, 1941—Feb. 28, 2016 Jackie Lane Madewell, 74, of Crossville, TN, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. He was born Friday, April 18, 1941 in Crossville, son of the late Allen and Geneva (Parsons) Madewell. He worked in the shipping department at Avery Dennison and was a member of the First Christian Church. Lane was a wonderful Christian man who loved his Lord, his family and his friends. He had a great personality and sense of humor and was liked by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Pearl Madewell; brothers, Fred Wilson (Teresa) and Jeff Wilson (Linda); brother-in-law, Ted Fields; sister-in-law, Carlene Christopher; and brothers-in-law, James Hembree and David Hembree. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Lane was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Madewell, Clyde Madewell and Ralph Wilson; and sisters, Alene Henry, Patricia Fields and Louise Blevins. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, with Bro. Bob Kastens officiating. Pallbearers were John Christopher, Jody Wilson, Chris Wilson, Dale Henry, Gary Mize and Lynn Conley. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
