Aug. 30, 1942—June 28, 2015 Howard D. Miller, 72, of Crossville, passed away June 28, 2015, at NHC Health Care of Sparta in Sparta. He was born Aug. 30, 1942, in Michigan City, IN, son of the late Bernard and Virginia (Smith) Miller. He worked in construction as a cement finisher and was of the Methodist faith. He also proudly served his country in the Army during Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Miller of Crossville; sons, Howard Miller of Wisconsin and Carey Miller of Indiana; daughter, Stephanie Hill of Indiana; step-son, Jeremy Grimm of Indiana; step-daughters, Gina Dickmeyer and Sherry Grimm, both of Indiana; brothers, Raymond Miller, Michael Miller and Bernard Miller, all of Indiana; and sisters, Judy Stevens of Florida and Candy Wendel of Indiana. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ross Miller, Melvin Miller and Denny Miller; and infant sister.
