Nov. 13, 1948—March 2, 2016 Herman Vincent "Vince" Tabor Jr., 67, of Crossville, passed away March 2, 2016. He was born Nov. 13, 1948, in Cumberland County, TN, son of Herman Vincent Sr. and Virginia Cox Tabor. He was retired after 26 years from the United States Air Force as a senior master sergeant. He was an avid reader, especially of military history. He was a devoted husband, father and son who loved his family greatly. He also had a tremendous love for his beloved dog, Nikki. He is survived by his wife, Raymunda "Minda" Tabor; son, Doug Tabor and his wife Elizabeth; daughter, Virginia Marie Misa Tabor; mother, Virginia Tabor; brothers, Donny Tabor and his wife Linda and Greg Tabor and his wife Kim; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Vincent Tabor Sr. Funeral Services were held Sunday, March 6, 2016, from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens with full military honors given. Pallbearers were Bruce Wyatt, Eddie Cox, Edgar Cox, Jimmy McDonald, Greg Tabor and David Clark.
