Henry Allen Barnett, 86, of Crossville, passed away June 28, 2016, at Cumberland House Hospice. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and then worked as an auto mechanic. He will be remembered for helping many people in many ways for all the years he was able.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Barnett; and brothers, Hugh L, Lloyd Blain and infant twin brother Earl Barnett.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorene Lowe Barnett; daughter, Linda Wright (Ralph); granddaughter, Mary Ann Wright (Brett Hutcheson); great-granddaughter, Merida Hutcheson; great-grandson, Wright Hutcheson; sisters, Alice Hyder and Lela Wyatt; and brother, Clyde Barnett.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Society and Cumberland House Hospice for their loving care during Allen's last days.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hydertown Cemetery.
