Feb. 17, 1930—May 8, 2015 Helen Margaret Larkowski, 85, of Fairfield Glade, passed away May 8, 2015, at her home. She was born Feb. 17, 1930, in Pine Bluffs, WY, daughter of the late Charles Samuel and Peterke (Lucht) McDonald. She was a homemaker and a volunteer and board member of God’s Pantry in Lexington, KY, from 1975 to 1995 before moving to Fairfield Glade. Since 1995, she was an active member and Sunday school teacher of the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church. She was also active in her Bible study group, various bridge groups and the knitting group, which ministered to the elderly, cancer patients and Tennessee families. She is survived by her husband, Gailard Larkowski of Crossville; son, Charles Larkowski of Fairborn, OH; daughter, Rudi Kadre, aka Gayla Larkowski, of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Peter, Jillian and Paul Larkowski; and great-grandchildren, Brycen, Isabella, Elijah, Emilia and Eden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Roderick Larkowski, and brothers, Roland McDonald, Lyle McDonald and Robert McDonald. Funeral services will be held at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Jay Archer and Rev. Moses Han officiating. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
