He was born March 25, 1929, in Chicago, IL, son of the late Samuel Frazer and Alta (Wentworth) Frazer. Hal taught school in the city of Chicago for 38 years.  His knowledge of American history, especially of the Civil War, was astounding, and he loved to discuss it with anyone who listened and wanted to know.
