Jan. 12, 1948—July 17, 2015 Harold Chistopher, 67, of Crossville, passed away July 17, 2015. He was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Roane County, the son of Francis and Christine Griffin Christopher. He was retired from the Crossville Housing Authority, having worked many years as a maintenance supervisor. He was a devoted Christian who loved his God and was also a member of Cumberland Fellowship Church. He enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. He was especially interested in lighthouses. He enjoyed a good game of golf, as well. His most special love of all was his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Gwynne Christopher of Crossville; sons, Frank Christopher and his wife, Rachael, also of Crossville and Marc Christopher and his wife, Rebecca, of Hermitage; stepson, Al Bohannon and his wife, Tonya, of Mt. Juliet; brother, Terry Christopher and his wife, Lynn, of Crossville; sisters, Carolyn Ford and her husband, George, of Sparta and Pat Jared and her husband, Lyndon, also of Sparta; grandchildren, Luke, Anna, Emma and Jake Christopher; and step-grandchildren, Xander Bohannon and Hunter Stevens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Velma Christopher, and brothers, Jimmy, Marvin and Bobby Christopher. Funeral services were held July 20 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Bro. Hank Jones officiated, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Travis Christopher, Terry Christopher, Scottie Baldwin, Jordan Jared, Christopher Jared, Buddy Christopher, Cody Christopher and Bryan Strevel. Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
