Feb. 25, 1917—Feb. 27, 2015 Glendon Edmonds, 98, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 27, 2015, at Cumberland House. She was born Feb. 25, 1917, in Fayetteville, TN, daughter to the late Henry and Mollie Stewman. Glendon worked as a real estate agent and was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughters, Faye Nelson of Knoxville and Mary Ruth Edmonds of Crossville; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Glendon was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Baxter Edmonds Sr.; sons, Jerry Baxter "J.B." Edmonds Jr. and Calvin Verlin Edmonds; and sisters, Bernice McDonald and Cecil Ortner. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home March 2, with Bro. Barry Kennedy and Bro. Larry McDuffie officiating. Interment was in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Donations may be made on Glendon's behalf to Cumberland House in Crossville. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
