March 23, 1929—March 9, 2016 Gerald Lemar Landrum, 86, was born on March 23, 1929, in De Kalb, MS, to the late Cleveland and Theolia McArthur Landrum. He passed away at his home in Crossville, TN, on March 9, 2016. In his younger years, Gerald loved going skiing, snowmobiling, and hunting. He was a mason with De Kalb Lodge 33, a driver for the Shriners and worked at General Motors. Gerald also enjoyed spending his time camping and traveling in his motor home. He loved helping others, and he would cut all of the neighborhood grass. Gerald was always friendly, and he never knew a stranger. Gerald is survived by his wife, Alice Burchfield Landrum; sons, Gerald John Landrum of Crossville and Jimmy Landrum (Vicky) of Iowa; daughters, Evelyn Kaiser (Herbert) of Germany; four grandchildren, Alexandra, Stacy, Janie and Michael; four great grand children, Drake, Dakota, Dawson and Lilly; one great great grandchild, Roland; and sister, Bonnie McDonald (Hanzel). He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Theolia McArthur Landrum. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
