May 5, 1933—Oct. 21, 2015 Gaynelle Brown Murray Adams, 82, of Crossville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Upper Cumberland Hospice in Cookeville, TN. She was born May 5, 1933, in Cumberland County, TN, daughter of the late General Jackson Buckner and Nellie Mae (Taylor) Buckner. Gaynelle was a homemaker and was a member of Creston Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Donnie W. Brown, Crossville, TN, and John D. Brown, Monterey, TN; and brothers, Dean Buckner, Crossville, TN, and Jackie Buckner, Sparta, TN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her third husband, Merlin Duane Adams; second husband, Marion Murray; first husband, William Dallas Brown; sons, Stevie Brown and Jeff Brown; brother, Jr. Buckner; and sisters, Dorothy Dixon and Jewell Wyatt. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Roland Smith officiating. Interment was in Creston Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Brown, Michael Brown, Nathan Brown, Erica Lane, Eric Brown and Bobo Keyes. Alternate pallbearer was Tyler Brown. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
