Franklin Delano Pierce, 83, of Crossville, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Wyndridge Health & Rehab Center in Crossville.
He was born Aug. 16, 1933, in Sweetwater, TN, son of the late Oscar Pierce and Emily Elizabeth (Phillips) Pierce.
Franklin worked as a merchant at numerous flea markets and was of the Protestant faith. He also proudly served his country in Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Rebecca Pierce of Crossville.
In addition to his parents, Franklin was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Wilson, and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Reed and Shirley Bryant.
Graveside services were held on Monday, March 13, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. EST at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Knoxville, TN.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
