April 2, 1933—March 13, 2015 Frances Dixon Taylor, 81, of Pikeville passed away March 13, 2015. She worked alongside her husband, Kelly, in the family business. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Methodist faith. She was born April 2, 1933 in Crossville. She is the daughter of the late Ernest Dixon and Polly Rhea Dixon She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents; brother, Ernest N. Dixon Jr.; sisters, Jean Hurst, Florence Fislar and Nell Danley. Left behind to cherish Frances’ memory are her husband of 64 years, Kelly V. Taylor of Pikeville; two sons, Kelly V. (Marjorie) Taylor Jr. of Crossville and Michael R. Taylor of Pikeville; daughter, Annette Taylor of Cummings, GA.; grandchildren, Scarlett (Brent) Measles, Rachel (Ken) Martin, Lucas Buford Bilbrey, Kelly Ann Taylor Bilbrey, Lincoln Charles Bilbrey, Jennifer (Martin) Dyhr , William Kelly (Jaime) Taylor and John Michael Taylor; great-grandchildren, James Martin, Cody Martin, Ellika Dyhr and Everly Sue Dyhr; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. A celebration of Frances’ life will be held today, March 17, at 2 p.m., with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. The family received friends from 3-6 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Pikeville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Kelly Taylor, Lucas Buford Bilbrey, John Michael Taylor, Lincoln Charles Bilbrey, Darren Danley and Brent Measles.
