Sept. 16, 1928 — Jan. 25, 2015 Floyd Nealon, of Castlewood, VA, passed away Jan. 25, 2015, at the age of 8 Floyd Nealon, of Castlewood, VA, passed away Jan. 25, 2015, at the age of 86. Floyd was born in Hebbertsburg, TN, on Sept. 16, 1928. He was the son of the late Ira and Stella Hall Nealon. Floyd was preceded in death by three brothers, Dallas, Boyd and Ronald; one sister, Shirley Wilson; and one grandson. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Modern Tool and Dye Company in Cleveland, OH. Floyd is survived by his wife, Nancy Nealon; daughter, Kathryn Taylor and husband, Steven, of Abingdon, VA; son, Andrew Nealon of Castlewood, VA; sisters, Syble Nichols, Faye Thomas, Anna Mae Norris, Bobbie Hoskins and Connie Cox, all of Crossville; brothers, Clay Nealon and Paul Nealon of Crossville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Floyd Nealon were conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, VA, with the Rev. Kyle Rose and Sam Sanders officiating. Committal services were conducted Wednesday, Jan. 28, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA. Pallbearers were Paul Sanders, Kevin Holmes, Roger Coomer, Devin Taylor, Malcolm Taylor and Isaac Taylor.
