May 25, 1918—Feb. 13, 2015 Florence Ida Fisher, 96, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 13, 2015, at Cumberland House in Crossville. She was born May 25, 1918, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Harry Hand Russell Sr. and Marion Elizabeth (Rasmussen) Russell. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Crossville. She is survived by her son, Dan Fisher of Florida; daughter, Debbie Thurman (L.T.) of Crossville; grandchildren, Dan, Beth and Charis; and great-grandchild, Grace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomas Fisher; father, Harry Hand Russell Sr.; mother, Marion Elizabeth (Rasmussen) Russell; brother, Harry Hand Russell Jr.; and sisters, Eleanor Russell and Virginia Nelson. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church Feb. 23, with the Rev. Sid Woodruff and the Rev. Kevin Carter officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
