Sept. 28, 1935—Nov. 23, 2015 Emil William Neitzke, 80, of Crossville, passed away Nov. 23, 2015. He was born Sept. 28, 1935, in Buffalo, NY, the only son of Theodore E. and Julia Kretzman Neitzke. After 38 years he retired from National Fuel Gas Corp. He was a devoted member and past president of the 127 South Senior Center, 55 year member of the Queen City-Christopher G Fox Lodge #358 of the Free and Accepted Masons and was currently a brother of the Crossville Masonic Lodge #483. He was also a member of Pomona United Methodist Church where he served as an usher. He had a longtime hobby of putting together jigsaw puzzles. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved to tell stories. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice; sons, Scott Neitzke, Christopher (Amanda) Neitzke, Craig (Jennifer) Neitzke; and daughter, Lisa (Steven) Fine. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Kathleen Neitzke, Scott Neitzke, Kyleigh Neitzke, Caitlynn Fine, Brandon Hendrix, Christopher Fine, Haley Neitzke, Samuel Neitzke, Joshua Fine and Garrett Neitzke; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Louise Benavides; brother-in-law, Al Benavides; and several nieces and a nephew. Memorial services will be held Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Pomona United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Pastor Lewis Davis will officiate. Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
