Elaine Betty Kay, 73, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 18, 2016. She was born March 25, 1943, in Gideon, MO, the daughter of Alvin George and Thelma Crowell Williams. She was a homemaker, a member of the Elks and attended Grace Community Church. She was also a gifted artist and loved working with arts and crafts. She enjoyed karaoke and singing as well as fishing. Her family was the most important part of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Victor Kay of Crossville; son, James Curtis Williamson and his wife Jill of Winter Haven, FL; daughter, Dawn Marie Kay Woods of Brighton, IL; brother, Don Dodson of Marion, IL; sister, Shalb Geen Sutton and her husband Donald of Winterhaven, FL; grandchildren, Krystal Angel Marie Kay, Ashley Monica Nicole Woods and Kelly Marie Williamson; and great grandchildren, Lilly Kay, Emmy Kay, Lainy Kay and Brian Bridgewater.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Lane Williamson; grandson, Joshua Kay; brother, Ben Dodson; stepfather, Claude Dodson; and son-in-law, Brian Woods.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
