June 14, 1930—March 15, 2016 Edith M. Randolph, 85, of rural DeWitt, MI, passed away at Hazel Findlay Country Manor on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was born on June 14, 1930, in Spriggs, WV, the daughter of Tom and Willie (Mays) Boyd. On July 2, 1966, she married William Randolph. He preceded her in death in 2000. Edith was active in AMVETS, serving as chaplain and finance officer for several years. She was a member of Bakers Cross Road Baptist Church in Croswell, TN. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Ivan) Sperry of DeWitt; son, Troy (Regina) Smith of West Virginia; four grandchildren, Jamie, Deloris, Daven and Chastity; nine great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; sister, Ann Evans of Ohio; brothers, Jesse (Delores) Boyd of Ohio and Paul (Margaret) Boyd of Florida; and sister-in-law, Dora Boyd. Edith was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charley Boyd. Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, 1500 Waterford Pkwy., St. Johns, MI 48879 (keckcolemanfh.com) on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Ira Workman officiating. Burial will follow at South Bingham Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. until service time.
