Nov. 24, 1935—Dec. 28, 2015 Donald Denver Clingerman, 80, of Crossville, TN, passed from this life on Dec. 28, 2015, at his home. Donald was born Nov. 24, 1935, in Elkins, WV, to Holland and Edith Clingerman. Donald served his country with honor in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Forbes Air Force Base, Topeka, KS, and also served oversees in Japan. Donald worked in maintenance most of his life for Lindsey Wire in Ohio, owned his own maintenance business and also was a groundskeeper up until the time of his retirement then moved to Crossville with his wife, Janice. Donald is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janice (Fitzgerald) Clingerman; daughter, Debra A. Miller (Charles), Lake County, OH; sons, Donald Clingerman Jr. (Carol) and Michael Clingerman, Lake County, OH; step-sons, John and Jim; brother, Joseph Clingerman; sisters, Reba and Susie; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy, William and Jerry Clingerman; sister, Peggy Gillenkirk; and step-son, Frank Reynolds. Services for Donald Denver Clingerman will be held at a later date at Church of Christ in the Glade, on Wilshire Drive, with Pastor Steven Law to officiate. Final Care Cremation Services of Sparta, TN, are in charge of arrangements.
