Jan. 18, 1933—July 5, 2015 Dick Hale Sr., 82, of Crossville, passed away July 5, 2015, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN. He was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Crossville, son of the late George Edward Hale and Lennis (Flynn) Hale. He worked as a service writer for Ford. He is survived by his sons, Richard T. Hale Jr. (Tami), Crossville, and Dennis Hale, Nevada; step-son, John Eckstrom, Nevada; grandsons, Richard T. Hale III (Mary Ellen), Nashville, and Joshua Adam Hale, Knoxville; granddaughter, Rebecca Eden Hale, Crossville; great-grandchildren, Bradley Thomas, Elizabeth Keelin, Elijah Clifford Hale and Winter Eden Hale; brothers, Don Hale (Debbie) and Dan Hale (Gladis), both of Crossville; nieces, Donna Hale, Angelica Detweiler, Cathy and Kay Smith, Suzzy Wilson, and Darla and Carla Beaty; nephew, Guydale Beaty; and great-nephews and great-nieces, Jason Hale (Allison), Amber Hale, Nikki Hale, Lonnie Hale and Justin Hale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jeanette Wilson and June Beaty, and great-nephew, Matthew Potter. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home July 10, with Bro. Ralph Reagan officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc.
