March 21, 1921—Nov. 23, 2015 Della Juanita Zinn, 94, of Crossville, TN (formerly of Pullman, WV), departed this life on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at WyndRidge Health & Rehab Center in Crossville. She was born March 21, 1921, in Fanshawe, OK, a daughter of Alvin and Goldie (Cutsinger) Allen. She was retired after 19 years of service at the former Myles Manufacturing of Pennsboro, WV, where she worked as a presser. She was a former member of the White Oak United Methodist Church and currently the Pullman United Methodist Church. Growing up, Della worked in the cotton fields in Oklahoma and later in life greatly enjoyed canning, gardening, flowers, baking and berry picking. She also served as a dispatcher for the Harrisville Emergency Squad for many years and was a member of the SouthFork Grange, CEOS of Pullman, and the Harrisville VFW #3554 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Sue Link (Wayne) of Crossville, and Cathy Ann Preddy (Jeffrey) of Wallace, NC; grandchildren, Stephanie Fair, Jeremy Alltop, Jerod Alltop and Michael Zinn; great grandchildren, Gabriel Reeves and Bryson Zinn; brother, Floyd Allen of Sanger, CA; and sisters, Bessie Muchinson of Fresno, CA, and Bonnie Hull of Spiro, OK. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Roy Zinn; daughter, Teresa Kay Zinn; and two sisters, Alta Shipman and Bertha Branscum. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV, with the Rev. Bill Jemison officiating. McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
