Dec. 26, 1947—June 17, 2015 Charlie E. Kerley, 67, of Grandview, passed away June 17, 2015. He was born Dec. 26, 1947, in Pikeville, the son of Hollis and Melvina Stafford Kerley. He was retired as a factory worker and attended Reed's Chapel Church of God. After retirement, his favorite pastime was going fishing. He is survived by his companion, Hazel Monday of Spring City; daughters, Tammy Dykes and her husband, Brian, of Crossville, Sandi Brewer and her husband, Terry, of Grandview and Brenda Hays and her husband, Ted, of Spring City; son, Charles E. Waldo Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Grandview; brothers, Billy Kerley and his wife, Hazel, of Grandview and Bryd Kerley and his wife, Molly, of Spring City; sisters, Kathleen Kerley of Crossville, Frances McGhee and her husband, R.C., of Spring City, Susie Clawson of Harriman and Geneva Taylor and her husband, Dwight, of Madisonville; grandchildren, Christopher Grant, Alesha Grant, Rebecca Grant, Randy Grant, Justin Waldo, Terry Brewer and Holli Brewer; and great-grandchild, Aubrey Grant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Agnes Kerley. Funeral services were held June 20 from the Chapel of Hood Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Taylor officiated, with burial in Linary Cemetery. Pallbearers were Danny Clawson, Chris Grant, Justin Waldo, Little Byrd Kerley, Joseph Smith and Chris Gornik.
