Charles Gene Norrod, 88, of Crossville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
He was born July 20, 1928, in Livingston, TN, son of the late Arthur Norrod and Emma (Phipps) Norrod. Charles worked in the accounting field as a bookkeeper and was of the Nazarene faith.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Norrod, Crossville; daughter, Carol (Greg) Ingram, Crossville; sons, Joel (Rhonda) Norrod, Crossville and Tim Norrod, Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Lindsey, Andy, Matthew, Noah and Emma; great-grandchildren, Regan, Nora, Evangeline and Eli; and sisters, Glena Borowick and Ernel Davis, both of Crossville.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Robbins, and brother, David Norrod.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Greg Keller and Pastor Andy Ingram officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery.
