Aug. 2, 1937—March 12, 2015 Bobby Alvin Sells Sr., 77, of Crossville, TN passed away on March 12, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral service was held March 14 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home; with Jim Bersereau officiating. Burial was March 15 at Smyrna Cemetery in Byrdstown. Bobby was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Byrdstown, to Cosby Duco and Ollie Sewell Sells. He served in the United States Navy. Bobby enjoyed going fishing, bowling, and playing fast pitch softball. He also liked playing card games on the computer. Bobby is survived by sons, Bobby A. Sells Jr. (Luanne) and Ricky H. Sells (Tammy); daughters, Cynthia Sells and Shelly Clouse (Rick); grandchildren, Dane, Evan, Zach, Brandi, Brittany, Caleb, Michelle and Michael; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Sells; sisters, Thelma Carpenter, Ruth McCampbell and Carolyn Osborne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cosby and Ollie Sells; and sisters, Charlotte Bertram, Allie Reagan and Emily Sells; and brother, Argyle Sells. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
