Oct. 13, 1932—March 14, 2015 Billie Bob Pugh, 82, of Crossville, passed away March 14, 2015. Billie Bob was born in Cumberland County Oct. 13, 1932, to Ray Pugh and Beryl Davidson Pugh. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and, after discharge, settled back in Crossville and was a life resident. Before retiring, Billie Bob was a long-term employee of J. Paul Smith Construction, and was affectionately known as “Dozer Man.” He was a member of the Old Fashion Independent Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Edith Lowe Pugh. He was the loving father of daughter, Sharron Pugh Henry and spouse, Larry; son, Eddie Pugh and spouse, Anita; son, Richard Pugh and spouse, Theresa; daughter, Shirley Pugh Ford; son, Billie Ray Pugh; and daughter, Sheila Pugh Gay. He was the grandfather of 13 and had 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Pugh; mother, Beryl Pugh; brother, James Ellison (Button) Pugh; and sister, Johnnie Mae Monk. Pallbearers were Ricky Pugh, Robert Henry, Tim Henry, James Davis, Lee Gilley and Eric Gilley. Honorary Pallbearers were James Woody and Daniel Reece. Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home March 18, with Bro. Gary Howard and Bro. Davis Hart officiating. Interment was in Woody Cemetery. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. (www.bilbreyfh.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
