Angelo DeBona, 76, of Crossville, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. He was born May 28, 1940, in Rochester, NY.
He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Alfredia (Kowalski) DeBona; his first wife, Jennie (Welch) DeBona; and also by his granddaughter, Samantha Jo Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Crossville; his two children, Debbie (Larry) Fisher and Steven (Tracey) DeBona of New York. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle (Jordan), Sarah and Nathan. Angelo's siblings are Alice (Calvin) Combs of Crossville and Vi Clevenger (Bob Estes) of N. Ft. Myers, FL. Angelo is also survived by his step-children, Karl (Steffie), Charles and Marc (Stefanie) Johnson. Also, his step-grandchildren, Garrett, Evan, Rudi, Lea, Maya and Nina Johnson.
In honoring his wishes, Angelo is to be cremated with his ashes to be placed in a mausoleum on New York. A private memorial service for family will be planned in New York.
