Aaron Lee Simpson Jr., 88, of Crossville, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
He was born March 8, 1928, in Crossville, son of the late Aaron L. Simpson Sr. and Sarah (Sullivan) Simpson.
Aaron worked as a printer and was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ. He also proudly served his country in the United Sates Army during World War II.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Lee Sterling, Crossville; grandson, Tracy (Melanie) Graham, Crossville; granddaughter, April (Colm) Galvin, FL; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Allison, Rowan and Lair; and sister-in-law, Lora Mae Roach Simpson, AL.
In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby "Marie" Wyatt Simpson; brothers, John L. Simpson and Sam Simpson; and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Brown, Daisy "Cleo" Smith and Eloise Knapp.
Funeral services were held at Main Street Church of Christ on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Barry Kennedy officiating. Interment in Crossville City Cemetery.
