Vernon K. Hagen, 91, of Stuart, FL, formerly of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, under the tender loving care of Treasure Health.
Vernon is a retired hydraulic engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a longtime member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Vernon was a past member of the Crossville First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Mooney and her husband Steve Mooney of Stuart, FL; and his grandchildren, Brian Mooney, Amy Howard and Andrew McGrew. He was predeceased by his wife of almost 60 years, Jessie Hagen, and their son, Robert McGrew.
Inurnment with full military honors from the U.S. Army will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at Mariner Sands Memorial Gardens, 6500 Congressional Way, Stuart, FL, 34997 followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Mariner Sands Chapel followed by a Reception at 3 p.m. at Allegro of Stuart, 3400 SE Aster Lane, Stuart, FL 34997.
