Teresa Lynn Baldwin, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 21, 2017. She was born Oct. 19, 1970, and was preceded in death by her father, James E. Baldwin.
She leaves behind her daughter and future son-in-law, Ali Baldwin and Marcus Brown; mother, Linda Baldwin; sister, Angie Franklin; niece and her husband, Nickie and Robert McDonald; nephew, Noah Franklin; brother, Jimmy Baldwin and his wife Amanda; nieces, Grace and Jalynn Baldwin; dog, Rufus; and many family and friends.
Teresa was a vital part of Cumberland County Emergency Communications and loved her job. She was a beautiful light to all who were privileged to know and work with her. She loved with all her heart and gave of herself freely without a thought. She was bright in her eyes, her smile, and her shining spirit that illuminated everyone's lives around her. Teresa's genuine laughter, her easy, quick smile, and the twinkle in her eyes made her beautiful. Her gentle, soothing voice and spirit made her a balm to those in dire need. She did it naturally, and she taught others around her how to be better people through her example.
Everyone who knew her will sorely miss her bright, beautiful soul.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at 4 p.m. at Pomona United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
