Ted was born Sept. 18, 1929, in Rochelle, IL, to Raymond and Merie (Vogt) Frohs and grew up in Rockford, IL, until joining the service. After serving his country in the Navy, Ted worked in sales in Phoenix, AZ, where he raised his children with his first wife, Sarah "Sally" (Peterson) Frohs. Twenty-five years later he relocated to Hernando, MS, meeting and marrying Sandy. There Ted started his own manufacturing sales company. He and Sandy eventually retired to Fairfield Glade.
Ted was a classy gentleman with a larger-than-life persona. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and golfing. He could build or fix anything. Ted was an incredible businessman of great integrity, was generous beyond measure and loved to tell stories of how he had lived life to the fullest.

Very saddened by this news. Ted and Sandy were our neighbors at the Peninsula in Gulf Shores AL - on the Golf course (of course) He always called me Tiger. We played hundreds of rounds together. I haven’t seen Ted since moving back to Birmingham in 2008. My wife and I were talking about Ted this morning and wondering how he was doing. A google search yielded this obituary. I was planning on calling him and it kills me that I waited too late. To Sandy and the kids and grandkids, my condolences. And to Ted, hit them straight tiger. Rest in peace my friend .
