Ted Roy Browning, 87, of Fairfield Glade, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
He was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Kentucky, son of the late William Browning and Mollie (Baker) Browning.
Ted worked at General Motors as supervisor of the paint department for 30 years, and for Dave Kirk for 25 years. He loved to play golf and travel, and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Browning of Fairfield Glade; son, Ted Steven Browning of Nashville; daughters, Geronda (Stan) Moye of Georgia and Donna (Bob) Shipley of Ohio; sisters, Enith Bentley, Sue Browning and Bobbie Whitaker, all of Kentucky; and brothers, James Browning of Ohio and Harold Browning of Kentucky. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ted is preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Browning.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 21, with Bro. Barry Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in Mansfield Memorial Park in Ohio at a later date.
