Tate Evans Welch, 88, of Crossville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at Residence in Crossville.
He was born Sept. 30, 1929, in Wheeler, KY, son of the late Clay Evans Welch and Bertha (Lowe) Welch. He worked as a banker and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Tate is survived by his son, Mike Welch, Crossville; daughters, Rhonda Potter and Dona Hughes, both of Crossville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Tate was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne (Beasley) Welch.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ on Main Street on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Ray Frizell and Bro. Barry Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
