Sharon Louise Phillips, 74, of Crossville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Standing Stone Care & Rehab Center in Monterey, TN. She was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Muncie, IN, daughter of Baxter Wyatt and Mabel (Cantrell) Wyatt.
Sharon was a hairdresser for over 50 years where she had many, many customers and lifelong friends. Her favorite pastime was working on her flower garden and spending time doing numerous activities with her daughter, Aprel, and grandson, Ryley (she never missed any of Ryley's ballgames). Sharon was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ. She was a kind, loving and caring wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend to every person she ever met. She always had a smile on her face and was friendly to everyone she met.
She is survived by Harry Phillips; daughter, Aprel Phillips; grandson, Ryley Phillips; brothers, David (Sarah) Wyatt, Stanford Wyatt, Russell Wyatt, Roger (Rhounda) Wyatt, Gary Wyatt and Scottie (Kristie) Wyatt; and sisters, Wanda Yvonne (Don) Rhodes, Hilda (Wendell) Bolin, Dorothena (James) Barrett, Thelma (Dale) Goodwin and Myra Wyatt; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Baxter and Mabel Wyatt; niece, Kim Wyatt; and nephew, Benjamin Wyatt.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Larry McDuffee officiating. Interment in Newton Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m.
