Sharon Ann Pate

Sharon Ann (Lemieux) Pate of Fairfield Glade passed away Dec. 25, 2018, at home surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral Mass/services will be conducted at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fairfield Glade at 10 a.m. on Feb. 22 with Father Michael Woods presiding. Sharon was born Dec. 31, 1943, in Cleveland, OH, preceded in death by her father, Bernard J. Lemieux, and mother, Helen A. (Campbell) Lemieux.
Mrs. Pate was the proud mother of four, loving grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of four. She also was an excellent administrative assistant, an avid volunteer for the elderly, and a devout, active Catholic in her church. She was a bit of a "wild and crazy lady" who loved to see a smile on everyone's face. She enjoyed cooking and belonged to various dance clubs in the Glade.
Survivors include her husband, Harold T. Pate of Fairfield Glade; sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Joanne Centa (Marcinko) of Columbus, OH; BJ and Jamie Centa (Soxman) of Medina, OH; Bryan Centa and Amanda Noble of Bowling Green, KY; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Richard Feliciano of Fort Lauderdale, FL; brother, Dr. Bernard J. Lemieux of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters, Coletta Eldridge (Bernard) of Las Vegas, NV; and Susan Ferrara of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Raymond Centa, Nicholas Centa, Nathan Centa, Allison Centa, Kayla Killian, Corey Killian, Brendan Centa, Ashlie Centa and Kali Centa; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Pate; nephew, Robert L. Pate Jr. and wife Beth Pate; nephew, John C. (Chris) Pate and wife Courtney Pate; grand-nieces, Isabella Pate, Michaela Pate, LoLa Pate and Eva Pate; and grand-nephews, Ethan Hale-Pate, Thomas Pate and Joseph Pate.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to cancer research, to the Shriners Hospitals - Helen Lemieux's program "Research - Straight to the Heart" or to Masses for the poor through Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Fairfield Glade or through the church of your choice.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory participated in arrangements of her funeral and interment.
